Contact ClearSay when a business claim is delayed, rejected, connected to the wrong account or already controlled by someone you do not recognise.

Before you start: Do not create duplicate business listings or submit repeated claims while the original request is being reviewed.

Step 1: Open the correct business profile

Search for the business at ClearSay.co.uk and copy the full profile address.

Step 2: Check the claim status

Sign in using the account that submitted the claim. Look for pending requests, verification messages or additional-information requests.

Step 3: Prepare the business details

Collect the information needed to identify the company.

  • Trading name
  • Registered company name where applicable
  • Company registration number
  • Business address
  • Official website
  • Public telephone number
  • ClearSay profile link

Step 4: Explain your authority

State your full name and role, such as owner, director, partner, manager or authorised representative.

Step 5: Prepare suitable evidence

ClearSay may request a business-domain email, public telephone verification or company documentation. Share only what is requested and hide unrelated personal or financial information.

Step 6: Contact ClearSay

Use the contact page. Select the most relevant enquiry type and explain the current claim status.

Step 7: Respond to verification requests

Monitor your email, including spam and junk folders, and answer any follow-up request promptly.

When the listing is already claimed

Do not attempt to take control through a new account. Explain why the current claim appears incorrect and provide evidence that you are authorised to represent the business.

Multiple locations or companies

State clearly which legal entity and location each profile represents. ClearSay may need to structure access separately.
