Good account security protects your profile, business information, customer-review tools and any billing details connected to ClearSay.

Before you start: Apply these safeguards to both your ClearSay account and the email account used to access it.

Step 1: Use a unique password

Create a password that is not used on another website. A password manager can generate and store a strong password safely.

Step 2: Secure your email account

Your email may be used to reset the ClearSay password. Enable available security features on the email account and keep its recovery details current.

Step 3: Protect verification codes

Never share a login code, password-reset link or verification message. ClearSay support should not ask you to provide your password.

Step 4: Check the website address

Only sign in through ClearSay.co.uk. Be cautious with messages that create urgency or send you to a different domain.

Step 5: Sign out from shared devices

Do not leave the account open on a public or shared computer. Sign out fully and close the browser.

Step 6: Review important account changes

Check confirmation emails for password, email, business-profile or billing changes. Investigate anything you do not recognise.

Step 7: Limit business access

Give account access only to authorised people. When a team member leaves, remove their access and update shared credentials immediately.

Warning signs

  • Unexpected password-reset emails
  • Unfamiliar profile changes
  • New review invitations you did not send
  • Unknown billing or plan changes
  • Login alerts from an unfamiliar device

What to do immediately

  1. Change the ClearSay password.
  2. Secure the connected email account.
  3. Take screenshots of unfamiliar changes.
  4. Contact ClearSay support.
  5. Do not delete evidence until the issue is reviewed.
