Your ClearSay email address is used for sign-in, security messages and account communication, so it should always be current and accessible.

Before you start: Sign in before starting. Keep access to both the current and new email addresses until the change is complete.

Step 1: Open account settings

Sign in at ClearSay.co.uk and open your profile or account settings.

Step 2: Find the email-address field

Select Edit Profile, Personal Details, Login Details or a similar option.

Step 3: Enter the new email address

Type the new address carefully. Use a business-domain email for a business account where practical.

Step 4: Confirm your password

ClearSay may ask for the current password to confirm that the account holder is making the change.

Step 5: Verify the new address

Open the confirmation email sent to the new address and follow the verification instructions.

Step 6: Check the current address

A security notice may also be sent to the old email address. Review it and report the change immediately if it was not authorised.

Step 7: Test the new login

Sign out and sign back in using the new email address. Update your password manager or saved browser login.

No access to the old email address

Do not create a replacement account if the existing account owns a business listing. Contact ClearSay and be ready to verify your identity or authority to manage the business.

Business accounts

Changing the email domain or account owner may require additional verification to protect the business profile from unauthorised transfer.
