Keeping your ClearSay business profile accurate helps customers recognise the company and find the correct contact information.

Before you start: The listing normally needs to be claimed and connected to the account you use to sign in.

Step 1: Sign in to your business account

Visit ClearSay.co.uk and sign in using the account connected to the claimed listing.

Step 2: Open the business dashboard

Select the business profile you want to manage.

Step 3: Open the profile settings

Choose Edit Profile, Manage Business, Business Details or the equivalent profile-management option.

Step 4: Check the business name

Use the correct public trading name. Avoid adding promotional claims, locations or unnecessary service keywords.

Step 5: Update the contact details

  • Business telephone number
  • Business email address
  • Website
  • Business address
  • Town or city
  • Postcode
  • Service area where applicable

Step 6: Update the description

Describe what the business provides, the main services or products, the area served and the type of customers supported. Keep all claims factual.

Step 7: Check the category

Select the category that most accurately reflects the main business activity. Do not add unrelated categories to gain extra exposure.

Step 8: Update the logo and public information

Upload the current official logo and update opening hours, social links or other public details where those options are available.

Step 9: Save the changes

Review the complete profile and select Save or Update. Open the public listing afterwards to confirm that the information displays correctly.

Why some changes may require verification

ClearSay may review changes involving ownership, the company name, website domain, telephone number, address or account email. This helps protect business listings from unauthorised edits.

Cannot edit the profile?

  • Check that you are signed into the correct account.
  • Confirm that the listing claim was approved.
  • Check whether another account controls the listing.
  • Look for an email requesting additional verification.
  • Do not create a duplicate business profile.
