A ClearSay review widget can display your current trust rating and customer feedback on your own website.
Step 1: Sign in to your business dashboard
Open ClearSay.co.uk, sign in and select the business profile you manage.
Step 2: Open Website Widgets
Select Website Widgets from the business dashboard. Choose the widget style and information you want to display.
Step 3: Preview the widget
Check the layout, rating display and business name. Make sure the preview shows the correct business profile.
Step 4: Copy the widget code
Select Copy Code or the equivalent option. Copy the complete code without changing or removing any part of it.
Step 5: Add the code to your website
Paste the code into an HTML area on the page where the widget should appear.
- WordPress Gutenberg: add a Custom HTML block and paste the code.
- Elementor: add an HTML widget and paste the code.
- Other website builders: use an Embed Code, HTML or Custom Code element.
Step 6: Preview and publish
Preview the page on desktop and mobile. Confirm that the widget loads correctly, fits the available width and does not overlap other content.
Step 7: Test the live widget
Open the published page in a private browser window. Check that the rating and profile link work and that the widget updates correctly.
Do not edit the rating manually
The widget should display information supplied by ClearSay. Do not alter the code to show a different rating, hide selected feedback or create a misleading trust signal.
Common display problems
- The full code was not copied.
- The code was inserted into a text block instead of an HTML block.
- A caching or security plugin blocked the script.
- The widget container is too narrow.
- The business account or plan does not include the selected widget.
